My first BJJ school in Houston was owned by the Blue Power Ranger. Irl his name was Jason David Frank. He didn’t know shite about jits but had an awesome instructor for that, but I digress. What he did know was Muay Thai and he was a beast. He offered a discount if we took multiple classes so I jumped into learning that on my off jits days. I did it for about a year. I thought it would be cool because I actually used to box when I lived in Louisiana so I thought I had a good standup base. I could never really get my kicks high enough for a decent head shot but I could plant a kick right above a guys knee cap on his lead leg and he would be contemplating life with not even a 50% effort. No way not even a seasoned pro boxer would even stand a chance against a legit MT fighter.

You never been in a real fight for potentially your life. There are no rules but win. Im not going kick your legs. I'm going to kick your nuts out your mouth, if necessary. Go fight in a ring if you want rules. The only street fight rule is one on one.
