His black teammates will let this go a lot sooner than the white media. The media hates racism (or loves racism stories?) more than anyone that it actually affects.

"N*****" isn't a racist term... it's just a word white people use in certain areas to refer to black people.
So if Cooper said something like "creepy-arse n*****", he was just talking like those in his neighborhood do.

Back when Rex Grossman was at Florida I found the # to his dads practice, he was either a dentist or a doctor, and I called and said I was Rex and wanted to speak to my dad. The nurse was all friendly and said oh hey Rex blah blah blah and asked how I was doing and said dad was out to lunch. I told her I broke my leg at practice and had to speak with him and she got all quiet and said she would have him call me back ASAP. It was a dick move but I always wondered how that played out with him and his dad!

Motherfricking media is straight up beating this story to death. In a span of 8 minutes- CNN, HLN, ESPN, ESPN2 all reported this at the same damn time. I'm sure I could've found more if flipped through more channels.
