I disagree.

--Oregon obviously deserves to be there.
--Georgia is pretty obvious as SEC Champ.
--Ohio State is possibly the best team in the country right now. They wouldn't have made it in a 4 team playoff.
--Notre dDame with 1 loss deserves to be there.
--If 2 loss TX deserves to be there, 2 loss PSU does also.
--Texas has 2 losses, both to Georgia. You could make an argument that they've proven they can't be Georgia so they don't belong, but they're better than most.
--So then what about 3 loss Clemson as ACC Champ and 2 loss Arizona State as Big 12 champ? If you are going to let in Texas, Georgia, Ohio State, and PSU with 2 losses, gotta at least let Arizona State in.
--Boise has no business being in a 4 team playoff and probably not an 8 team, but you can justify them in a 12 team.


I still think 8 teams is where it should be.

1. Oregon 0 loss Big 10 Champ
2. Georgia 2 loss SEC Champ
3. Notre Dame 1 loss at large
4. Arizona State 2 loss Big 12 Champ
5. Ohio State 2 loss at large
6. Texas 2 loss at large
7. Penn State 2 loss at large
8. Clemson 3 loss ACC Champ

That is where I would have seeded teams, that would be my playoff.

Oregon v Clemson
Arizona State v Ohio State

Georgia v Penn State
Notre Dame v Texas

OL looked to move a little early there but no call.
