If she can kick the ball well, why the frick do you care?

Here's the rub...she can't. In warmups, she never lined up outside the 3 yard line for kicks and was barely getting them over the crossbar. I'm sure you watch enough football to know that 1) a kicker will never line up that close for a kick; and 2) that if she can't make kicks beyond that then she probably should be starting over kickers on the roster or even last week.

I don't think anyone has an issue with her being a girl playing football, assuming she was better than other options. People take issue with her starting simply for being a girl and the publicity it would generate, despite her not being the best option available.

Do you think she is being used to push an agenda? And follow up, is it a bipartisan agenda, or one that follows a specific party line?

The one dude claimed this hours after the game

Said Players were not on board, AD pushed it, and it caused a lot of friction, especially after she called players out in her speech

Vandy is still probably gonna beat VOLS lmao

Would be great if Vandy lost 21-18 because she missed all 3 extra points and a last minute FG to tie. I guess it would also be hilarious if they won on a game winning FG by her because that would be the most Tennessee thing ever

They had no kickers b/c of COVID protocols and no men's soccer team. They found the person on campus with the strongest leg who was willing to play and went with her. Simple as that.

The only two problems here are Mason making her squib it (which IMO is actually more insulting to her than anything else) and Mason letting a kicker who has been on the team all of a week give a halftime speech.

With Vanderbilt trailing 21-0 at halftime, Fuller decided she wanted to address the team. “If I’m going to be honest, I was a little pissed off at how quiet everybody was on the sideline,” she said. “We made a first down, and I was the only one cheering and I was like — what the heck? What’s going on? And I tried to get them pumped up.” She said she compared it to Vanderbilt soccer’s SEC tournament-winning run, when the team was “cheering the entire time.” “I just went in there and I said exactly what I was thinking. I was like, ‘We need to be cheering each other on. This is how you win games. This is how you get better is by calling each other out for stuff, and I’m going to call you guys out. We need to be supporting one another. We need to be lifting each other up. That’s what a team’s about,'” Fuller said. “I think this team has struggled, and that’s been part of it. “We really just need to build that team camaraderie where they can all lean on one another. It was an adjustment going from that team mentality where — hey, we’re all here supporting one another — and I just wanted to bring that to this team.”

She not only demanded to address the team but then make her speech about teaching them how to win!
Now imagine how much of a laughing stock in the locker room a freshman walk on kicker would've been making the same speech

They had a punter who I guarantee you had a stronger and more accurate kicking leg than this girl.

With three days of practice, every member of the football team could kick it better than her (especially the punter who averaged 43 YPP on 7 Punts last Saturday)

Are you stupid, or just trolling?

Point to where i said the kickers weren't sick dickhead.

The story about not having options was false. Either of the punters could of Kicked. There were street walk ons who inquired, had played soccer or kicked in HS.

She doesn't have a strong leg, she struggled kicking xtra points, and is so slow to the kick that it will be blocked

So keep up the charade of the only option, it's a lie
