Poa is the native grass at Chambers and yes it is at Pebble and a lot of West coast courses...but they used fescue grass on the greens. When the native poa started growing in the greens is when they lost the course I believe. Poa grows at a different rate then fescue and thats why in the afternoon the greens are crap to putt on. I don't blame the players for complaining at all. Yes the US Open should be tough but to me it looks like bad course management.
