I am just a casual golf fan, so forgive if I am wrong. But this has to be the worst looking course and greens I have ever seen on televised tournament not to mention it being a major.

ETA: I see what you're saying in terms of their "uniqueness," but you have to admit this is to a whole new level at Chambers Bay.

I've been pleasantly surprised at how good Greg has been as the prime analyst. He's accurately described the good, the bad, and the ugly.

I like Chambers Bay. I'd like it better if it was green, and so would the majority of its detractors.

Different grass type for that climate that you aren't used to seeing. Poa Annua gets bumpy in the afternoon. No one cared at Olympic.

The only 2 courses for me that I hope never change are Augusta and Pebble.
I wished they would nuke Southern Hills and Shinnecock.
Bethpage and Olympic need minor tweaks what I'm not sure.
Whistling Straights needs better ground rules.
The rest could switch anything and everything I wouldn't care.

Agree that Norman has been good. He's the golf version of Gary Danielson...now if only joe buck were replaced by Verne we'd be in business.
