I went from:
(1) Urbs is unfairly taking blame for Title IX kangaroo court big brother reporting insanity, to:
(2) Urbs is a TPOS because he almost assuredly knew Smith was beating his wife and kept him around, to:
(3) The Smiths are a trainwreck, leave Urbs alone.

My ultimate prediction
Urbs doesnt get fired
Fanbases across America melt
But who melts the hardest? Naturally gumps as Urbs is their biggest threat. They all claim moral superiority and act as if Urbs should be fired due to title ix, eventhough they dont know what the frick title IX actually is
Urbs and the buckeyes unite this year and beat the tide in a close game for the title. Naturally, like gumps do, they beat their wives/sisters due to the loss. Ironic right?
Well, as Saban enters his office, he sees a janitor employed by the university beating his wife because he is upset his mighty tahd lost. He tells the janitor to scram. Saban thinks nothing of it and doesnt report it
Well, saban witnessed an employee committing domestic violence on campus, and by not reporting he actually did commit a title ix violation. In the ultimate gut punch to the gumps saban is fired for a title ix violation
Gumps now are besided themselves. So they up their game and murder their wives/sisters
This causes a mass decrease in the population of Alabama over the next generation due to no breedable women. Bama football and the state basically seize to exist and become a baron almost apocalyptic wasteland.
Auburn survives because they are smart and annex the city of Auburn to the state of Georgia where it belongs anyway

Resigns. I don't think they are going to fire him, but I don't think they will want to keep him either. So they force him to resign with his dignity somewhat intact.

I'd have to know see more about what Meyer knew and what actions (if any) he took against the assistant. If he was fired, I wouldn't have a problem with my program picking him up

Two days ago I thought he would be fired. I think if nothing else comes out that incriminates him, he will be retained. As it is, I think it’s foggy enough where OSU/Meyer could create a path to retain him.
