New PAC-12: Stanford, Cal, Oregon State, Wazzu, San Diego State, UNLV, Colorado State, Boise State, Fresno State, Air Force, SMU, Tulane, New Mexico, Memphis (maybe less 2 to make it 12) Thoughts?
The PAC 12 would most likely lose autonomy/P5 status, but it would at least keep them alive for the time being and give them a chance to rebuild

How about all of these things are connected. None of them happen on an island.
How about, I don't like any of it.

So with the PAC after dark gone, is it now the BIG after 10?

If I'm SDSU why would I pay a $34 million Exit fee to join that conference when two of those( Cal, Stanford) are schools that don't want to be playing football and the rest are located in the same no name towns that you've been playing in since the Mountain West was a thing?
Are they really going to be making that much more money that leaving would be worth it? I doubt it.

@ 18 teams, it’s pretty stupid to continue calling it the “Big 10” — They should @ least get to 20 teams so they can call it the : Big10 squared

This is why they put the breaks on that thing last month. They knew this could happen.

you want to rethink that Ezinstein?

Add in all the MAC teams they have played over the years and they may get close to that.

Can't I be mad at both?
I'm not naive enough to believe that college football programs have never not cared about their bottom lines. That being said, however, I long for the days when it wasn't so front and center. Everything has become about television contracts and nailing down this market or that market.
