ACC presidents were scheduled to meet tonight to further discuss the league’s latest expansion plan, sources tell @YahooSports.

Recent Big 12 acquisitions likely ended any Westward expansion plans. The league seriously explored adding 5-7 Pac-12 schools.

Big 12 meeting tonight to make this a done deal. Story from @skhanjr

Washington president Ana Mari Cauce: "Even with this move, we remain committed to the Apple Cup and to competing with WSU across all of our sports."

Oregon and Washington informed Pac-12 presidents earlier that they plan to accept an invitation from the Big Ten, sources tell me and @DanWetzel. An invitation from the Big Ten is expected soon.

EXCLUSIVE: Florida State University is working with JPMorgan Chase to explore how the school’s athletic department could raise capital from institutional funds, such as private equity

Sources: Arizona is now a "hard lean" to join the Big 12. Scheduled to be in executive session at the moment. No word on ASU. Also, economic hangup re Washington which has figured it needs about $10 million annually to cover travel. That would impact revenue share signficantly.

FSU president Richard McCullough: “We are not satisfied w/our current situation. We love the ACC. Our goal to stay in the ACC, but to stay in ACC under current situation is hard for us to figure out how we remain competitive unless there is a major change in revenue distribution w/in ACC.”

Drew Weatherford: "It's not a matter of 'if we leave' in my opinion, it's when we leave."

No. He literally just apologized like 2 weeks ago to UF for getting the baseball HC story incorrect.

Literally yesterday he incorrectly reported on the former AU football player’s wife who hired a hit man.

I love Jack Mac’s TikTok breakdowns, but he’s def not accurate a lot

lulz...FSU & Clemson don't fit the B10 model AT ALL.

Not a chance they go there.

Oregon and Washington were definitely in talks with the B10 before USC and UCLA were announced. With Colorado leaving, I don’t think it’s a stretch.

FSU has raised their academic profile. I can see that one. Clemson, no freaking way.

Besides, the GOR says NO. BIG already got Maryland out of that conference once, so the ACC locked the gate.

Not happening.

SEC gonna be a 64 team conference when all is said and done. It’s gonna have some great rivalries.

I could see them inviting FSU even though the Noles aren't AAU. No chance in hell they'd take Clemson right now.

He just throws shite against the wall. He’s not reputable by any means. In the words of a respected reporter Ross Dellenger, “consider everything, believe nothing”.

Neither here nor there, but that apology was strictly for stating "the guy killed his kids and himself because his wife was cheating on him with O'Sullivan."

His wife was cheating on him with O'Sullivan, that's a fact. The issue was essentially reporting the Wife's infidelity directly led to the murders of her children. It was an apology encouraged by barstool's legal department.

If it was $75M, everyone would have left.

It's $500M.

That's just the exit fee. The ACC would still have their media rights through 2036.

Say what

The exit fee is $52 million. Plus the ACC owning their tv rights until 2036.

Difference is the Big 12 media rights deal ends in 2025. OU and Texas both paid $50 million to leave a year early.
