What a fricking moron.

Update from Allen Fieldhouse: No Les here tonight so contract must not be done yet. The crowd just chanted “Les Miles” very loudly after a KU football commercial played on the Jumbotron

It's not the first time Les Miles has coached in the Big 12. Mike Gundy replaced him at Oklahoma State on case you forgot.

Perspective guys. Kansas is the second worst P5 football program ahead of only Rutgers right now. For that program to get Lester Miles is a big fricking deal. No, Les is not going to be competing for nattys at KU, but he will make them respectable and competitive. Maybe more, between his recruiting connections in LA, the Kansas JUCO scene, and the proximity to talent in OK and TX, he could build a team that challenges in the Big 12. Especially considering he's a defense guy, which is something not played in the Big 12.

I give him 3 years and he'll have KU in the top half if the conference, and the KU fans will be ecstatic.

After being fired, Miles seemed like he made peace and moved on with his life from coaching. Only way I thought he would go back was if Michigan called. If he's willing to go to someplace like Kansas, I sure missed all the signs. People are complicated.

And with Long in charge, seems like there was more than his agent just making up shite for all those Miles to Arkansas rumors a few years back.

nearly everything les miles has done coaching doesn't make sense... worst in game coaching ive ever seen. this is a total les miles move, stubborn old man.... only good thing about it is he can motivate young men and someone will get a degree that wouldn't have otherwise.

If Les can get them bowl eligible and win a few big time upsets it will be a success. I think he has a good chance to do well and leave the program in a much better place than what it is now.

Why would Purdue be looking for a new HC?
