The difference? The Texas legislature never actively worked against Baylor. The fact that you think that it was some of type of “conspiracy” that pro-LSU legislators took resources from other schools to benefit LSU is straight up denial. It’s well documented.

The “LSU Rule” doesn’t allow for that. Athletically branding itself as “Louisiana” is not the same as what you’re claiming. Most schools with state “brands” also have city designations along with their full university name.

Tulane, LaTech, Nicholls, McNeese, ULM, Southern, Grambling and SLU combined don’t get as many threads started about them and do the Cajuns. Hell, I’m not sure any SEC program gets as much attention as Louisiana does.
It’s fricken gold every single time. We get shite on every week. Told to know your place, you’re not this or that. How about YOU LSU fans know your place. Y’all are a fricken powerhouse program in nearly every sport that counts and you focus on the Cajuns, like we will ever be in your shoes. Pathetic

There’s like 35 public universities in Texas, with a population of 30 million. Louisiana has 14 public universities with a population of 4.5 million. It’s not quite the same is it?
Let’s shut down every 4 year public university except UNO, LaTech, UL & LSU. Then let’s see what acceptance rates look like. Sounds silly, just like your statement.
