It's just amazing to me how quickly and quietly the actual meaning of name, image, and likeness disappeared and turned into straight cash for every player. I remember when that was supposed to be a little money for having your likeness on NCAA and for the actual stars to get endorsements. Then overnight everything turned into a bidding war including high school players so frick it just sign wherever then portal every year. Good job CFB

It’s not college football’s fault that fans and coaches are out of control. If the SEC schools all agreed to not take in transfers from member schools all this would end because you would no longer have a bidding war.

They’d be sued into the next century.

This ain’t bad for a good player. It’s $500k a year. Hell they are paying high school signees that now

His numbers seem ok, but not star worthy.

I hope nobody takes him. You’ll get paid well to be on the field doing what we tell you to do. And you’ll like it

Did you think playing football for no money was more
similar to the real world workplace?
Getting housing, food, medical, travel, equipment & training covered with zero out-of-pocket expenses or taxes? That's better than most workers have it in the real world. Throw in the under the table cash, parties, and 20-year old cleat chasers and they really had it better than most.

Don’t blame Napier one bit for telling him to kick rocks
Demanding money is reasonable. It's the way things work.
Demanding playing time is not.

And what did he do to “earn” directly from his Name, Image, & Likeness?
Was Jack the official poster child of the “Kid’s who don’t read so well program”, a featured provocative spread in Florida Man Quarterly, or even on a billboard for pediatric cancer research?
If not he’s as much as a fraud as UF and they’re just paying another dumb jock to run faster, jump higher, and hit harder than another dumb jock and that’s graff and corruption of the system and should be prosecuted as such.

UF said no and now he’s in the portal.
