What a lame card for a once in a lifetime venue.

More people will watch Rousey/Carano than this

I seriously doubt this but doesnt this say more about the consumer than the card. who would watch two women who havent fought in almost 3 decades combined over some of the more exciting fighters in combat sports. topuria is a two weight champion who has knocked out some of the greatest to ever do it. 9 fights in the UFC 7 finishes. gaethje has been one of the most... if not the most consistent performer on the roster.

Topuria enters the chat. If this guy ever loses, his whole aura is gone.

Islam responds. Topuria might be locking in the fight to happen someday with his trash talk.

He’s won 4 of his last 5. His only recent loss was the Holloway KO. In that stretch he’s beat Fiziev twice, KO’d a prime Poirer, and brutalized Paddy the Baddy. I feel like this board sleeps on Gaethje way to much. Not saying he’ll win but it’s a badass fight

Meant 2 of last 3 title fights. I like Gaethje, I was pulling for him in most of his fights, I’m just saying for a greatest card ever, it’s disappointing and Topuria will be pretty heavily favored I would imagine. That being said, I’m still excited for it and will be tuned in obviously.

Maybe a hot take but an American taking the belt from him at the WH is way more compelling than Islam even if it has long odds. Do the Islam fight later in the year.

Any chance they put this over the air on CBS or for free on Paramount Plus, instead of requiring the paid subscription?

Poor Joe worried about bugs

I wonder if he’s ever been to a football game or a baseball game outdoors

Joe would have been opposed to Ali and Foreman's rumble in the jungle too I guess.

100%

The environmental conditions completely changed that fight and deprived fight fans of the fight that could have been. Even the fricking ring itself was failing.
