I read somewhere Edgar could drop to 135 and challenge Dillashaw if he wins. That would be a good fight.

Edgar could do it because he only cuts like 5 lbs to make 145 now.
It's a joke that Gus is getting the next shot at 205.

I don't know how to classify the count.

I don't think he could beat the champ, rockhold, jacare, mousasi or Romero but will def beat dolloway, machida (at least at this point), boetsch and hendo

He will go down as a very good fighter who could never beat the top guys. His losses: Rockhold, Kennedy, Belfort, Chael, Wandy, Hendo, and Rashad Evans. His wins have come against some very good fighters (Leites, Sexyama, Cung Le, Leben, Belcher, Stann). And the rest are against mostly journeyman types. I agree that he couldn't beat any of the Monsters that currently sit at the top of the MW rankings.

surprised to see gustaffson get a shot at the title after getting knocked out by rumble. I would rather see bader. at least he has had a few wins in a row and the spat between he and cormier would have made it interesting.

Agreed but with jones out and Gus lost recently to rumble and rumble lost to Cormier there isn't a lot of worthy contenders I suppose

I think they made the right decision. Gus is definitely better than Bader. I would pay to see Cormier vs Gus and not for Cormier vs Bader. Then again, I think Bader is a fraud.

I'm sure he'll get his shot if he beat Evans that same day

I hope everyone agrees with you. Bader is a clown.

If he wants a title shot before 2017 this really is his only hope

If you take out his losses to guys that were on PEDs at the time he is the best MW ever!

I fixed it. Gus could cut off all his limbs and still wouldn't make 155.

Frankie really is the odd man out in any title scenario at 145/155. I guess he could cut 10 more lbs, not sure he'd be the Frankie we're used to seeing w/o IV rehydration.

Think they'll move the weigh in up 6 hours or so, so fighters can have more time to rehydrate?

I have no clue what they are going to do as far as weigh-ins and IVs.

How can they stop guys from getting IVs?

Bader is a boring. Then you factor in his new fake bad boy image and it's unbearable.

He fought a can though.

My god they are feeding him cans and protecting WAY more than the UFC protected McGregor. [link=(crap. Bellator started a lot earlier than I thought it would. Missed Page's fight. 1st rd Walk Off KO, apparently it was in trademark Page fashion.
