UCLA should have had Foster as a one year interim and then hired a real coach this offseason
Good luck recruiting telling the world you have an interim.

Other than Nico, did they recruit worth a shite with him as permanent?

Pretty sure the administrations at both UCLA and Cal not only dont care about football but are actually hostile towards the programs.
While probably right, the exposure and money college football brings is just completely idiotic to not embrace to some degree.

New Mexico blowing you out at home should always be a firable offense at the P4 level.
Fun fact:
The Lobos have had three different head coaches over the last three seasons.

So the transfer portal opens for those 2 teams tomorrow and they haven’t played 4 games yet, so they can all redshirt and transfer if they want

UCLA is awful. I have to imagine they should have some alumni that can pay people to want to live it up in LA

They'll probably hire Jimbo Fisher.
For ucla that would be a good hire actually

Didn’t foster act like a complete arse last year? Or am I thinking of someone else?
I don’t think that’s him (unless I missed something). He just seemed to have no clue what he was doing.

Recruiting is entirely transactional now anyway

Deshaun Foster has been a disaster and should never have been hired in the first place. Chip Kelly had turned off a lot of UCLA players and the UCLA admins wanted a coach the players liked. I'm sure Foster is a nice guy but he's a terrible HC.

I hope you are joking…
But the signs that ucla cares more are there Including firing foster in year 2 before Florida fires Billy in year 4
And also Chip Kelly picked ucla over UF as soon as it became available even though UF pursued him hard

Chip Kelly picked ucla over Florida because he saw the UAA would cheap out and he’d get more support in Brentwood!
that worked out well, lol

Who is going to tell us what city UCLA is in now?

that worked out well, lol
At least ucla is trying to build a program while the gators are just letting there’s rot
Honestly Florida should seriously considering folding the football program completely and reallocate the capital to basketball
And fsu and or Miami could fill their spot in the sec
Would be a win for the sec for sure
