You actually cant pay the players because Title IX dictates that everyone from the starting QB to the alternate for the final leg in the 200m breathstroke on the swim team has to make the same amount

Do the schools have enough to pay for tuition, fees, housing, meal plans, and stipends?

It’s such a myth the kids can’t eat and what not. Scholarship kids have it made. Only idiots believe the athlete starving crap:

Any athlete that says they don't absolutely have it made especially at the D1 level is completely full of it.

Also you have to actively try to not graduate. Even the swim team alternates have insane academic resources

I don't believe that, but I do believe it's bullshite that a select number have to give up tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars in the name of "amateurism" why other people get rich off their backs

It would be hilarious to watch 99.99999999999% of high school athletes go straight to the NFL.

I was a role player/benchwarmer, so I usually took my new equipment to the local sporting good store and turned em in for store credit, LOTS of store credit, since my prior season stuff was still good. Come at me NCAA!

Jesus christ I literally had to look it up and independently verify that, that is crazy, Luke should be fired simply for that. I have met Matt come from the same neck of the woods good dude, but why he was ever hired in the first place at that price even as good a recruiter as McGriff was is crazy.

I was on a full scholarship...non-athletic. With that said, I was never hurting for meals. I saw what those athletes had. With all of the gear they get, they were never hurting for clothes, shoes, etc. The cafeteria was open at special times for athletes. They had it made.

NCAA is stupid, though. If a guy on campus wants to sell his autograph for $10, let him.

Do Auburn fans not like Kevin Steele anymore? I've been trying to tell them for 3 years.

Anyone that thinks paying players is limited to football is an absolute fool.
