Honestly I'd put Donovan McNabb in the HOF before Aikman. if Andy Ried wasn't a stubborn a-hole, the Eagles would have won a lot more than they did.
Never go full retard Philly fan

I know it doesn't pass the logic test but I think not winning a Super Bowl shouldn't count against you but winning Super Bowls can help your cause.

Why do so many people say Ray Guy is GOAT? Reggie Roby had better stats. Not a lot of difference in a lot of those guys, and none of them can be attributed to winning a championship for their team.
Honestly, I wouldn't have a problem with Roby getting in. Same with Lechler.
I feel like Guy is considered GOAT because he needed to get in before any other punters would be considered.

You got that right, my friend! Allen only had over 1,000 yards in a season three times. He averaged 55.1 YPG for his (admittedly) long career. When he retired, he was fifth on the list of rushing yards. But, again, don’t get bogged down in stats. This isn’t baseball. Allen was a college star who was spectacular in his first four NFL seasons. He rode that reputation to the Hall.
didn't Marcus Allen have a dicey relationship with Al Davis? Bo Jackson stole Allen's thunder there for awhile too. I know Allen ended up with the Chiefs but even when Allen was having good years with the Raiders early on I remember reading some where that they just didn't get along.
could be wrong though.

lol whut
McNabb has much better numbers than Aikman and carried an offense by himself for a decade.
Aikman was a game manager that had great people around him. Any competent NFL quarterback would have been great with those Dallas team

Jay Cutler has better numbers than Aikman, too

Main difference is McNabb choked hard in the postseason. Aikman stepped up in the postseason and sacrificed meaningless regular season stats to win multiple titles. Aikman put up all time stats when it mattered most so to say any competent QB could have led them to 3 titles is typical ignorant Philly hate.

Aikman stepped up? Do you mean he just didn't fall over on his face? That's all he had to do in order too win.

This is correct. Davis had coaches use Allen part-time.

Aikman never puked all over himself in any of the 3 super bowl championship games that he won. McNabb made it once, but puked all over himself in a loss.

Mcnabbs Super Bowl performance would have been a career night for Troy
Posted on 8/16/15 at 12:37 pm to lsupride87
Except Troy won a Super Bowl MVP and broke Montana's record with 89 completions without an int during that SB run.
I believe he had 285 and 4 TD in that Super Bowl also

really???? I am not a huge Aikman fan but he did step up in the playoffs.....

He also stood up the entire playoffs thanks to his 4 pro bowl lineman. Must be nice. Troy is in no way a bad QB, but he was blessed with the best NFL line in NFL history, the most accomplished back in NFL history, one of the best receivers in NFL history, and one of the best coaches in NFL history
