Dabo Swinney just told reporters Trevor Lawrence will be OUT vs. Notre Dame.

Clemson likely still wins, IMO.

Dabo playing chess, giving us a mulligan in this game regardless of outcome.

Well played my man.

DJ did a great job in his first start today. I think the offense will be fine. Defense needs to play better than they did in the first half today and special teams needs to quit sucking arse.

It's a shame players have to miss a game over at worst a runny nose.

Most people with a brain new Bama would roll Georgia.

And both teams didn't have much of a resume going into the game except rankings based mostly off of preseason.

Clemson and ND have won quite a few games now and their rankings seem pretty accurate.

Even if they lose they are likely still in the playoff.

right? the conversation is already so easy and predictable. beat ND in a conference championship game and you've nullified your only loss. the committee will evaluate your team with lawrence and pretend like the ND game was never played if it's a loss.

i mean, i don't think this is actual strategy and trevor would play if he was allowed, but it just turns next week's game into a freebie.

They said he can’t play because he has to do cardiac monitoring after the 10 day quarantine.

Why not? Let's say they go 1-1 against each other and win all their other games. 11-1 ACC champ Clemson would get a pass because Trevor didn't play in their loss and you know an 11-1 Notre Dame ain't getting left out.

Clemson could have lost today and next week and still gotten in with a healthy Lawrence.
