You have to be joking on all three counts.

T-Mac 1st or 2nd team all NBA 5x
Allen, Miller and Pierce combined 2x

The HOF is for great players not really good players for a long time.

If Bernard King can get into the Hall, then why not McGrady?

It's the Basketball Hall of Fame; not the Baseball Hall of Fame. It's about as selective as Ole Miss.

How about longevity and being able to compete at a high level for so long? Two 18 yr careers and a 15 yr and counting career of consistent basketball at a high level compared to a guy who couldn't stay healthy for more than 7 years. T-Mac had a great peak, and I wouldn't be surprised if he got in, but Allen and Pierce are no brainer hall of famers. You could make an argument against Miller based on the numbers.. but you need to weigh longevity in your equation.

So LE... You think he's a HOFer or he is good?

well i think playing in a place like Toronto killed him

He has the resume' to be in the HOF.

he's a 2x scoring champ, and every player that has won a scoring since the merger title has made the HOF

No. TMac's time as a top NBA player was far too short.

The HOF isn't for guys who play at a high level. Its for guys who play at an elite level

And that is all. Stop trying to put all of these players in the Hall of Fame, it's becoming less and less special.
its the basketball HOF. There's not even a separate NBA hall. It's a joke already. They let in high school basketball coaches, women, and referees. Less special?!?!

And we are arguing over a guy who never played his way out if the first round. The few times his team advanced, he's either not good enough to play(spurs), or hurt and cheer leading(rockets). Dudes was a complete waste of talent

PP had a 6 year run of beast moding in playoffs. Big wins, big shots, actually playing in the finals...

T-Mac was all style, no substance

I guess this all depends on what you define as a top NBA player but really this is not even close. Pierce's time as a top NBA player was twice that of McGrady's.

McGrady had the higher peak, but Pierce has had a long, consistent career.
