That's it? 2/54 for Durant?
Posted on 7/3/17 at 5:21 pm to Fus0623
Durant all in on ring chasing

He earned the ring just like Lebron did. Props to him for doing this.

If true, that's mind blowing

Anthony Slater @anthonyVslater Kevin Durant's $25 million salary is $9.5 million less than his max, $6.8 less than expected and $1.54 million less than he made last year.

Makes one wonder what really went on in New York that season... I'm guessing their front office did their usual thing of screwing shite up. They have a knack for it apparently.
Maybe so... but just two months ago, if that, D'Antoni was blaming Melo.
But hey Melo was spotted training for fast pace offense today, so it must be all good.

I've got a lot more respect for guys that take less money like that to keep a good thing together. Props to him

quote:you know what I mean. He wasn't winning a ring in OKC. He's taking a massive discount to keep chasing rings. Btw he's the best player on the team

fricking stupid.
THese guys don't get it.
Why is he giving charity back to a multi billionaire? You think the little $7M-$14M you save them now wouldn't stop them from trading iggy or Livingston in two years when the luxury tax bill is in the $100M range?
Get all the money you can and let the billionaires figure it out. Players giving power back to the owners --- I hate it

He wants to win multiple championships.
This is the best way to do that.
It's admirable.

Why? What has the owner done to be cut a break? I have no respect for it; ticket prices are still going to go up. They have a new stadium to pull revenue from. Why should I feel sympathic for a multi billionaire?

Was this posted yet?

Sam Amick @sam_amick Rajon Rondo is still in the mix for the coveted Lakers PG spot, I'm told. Per ESPN, George Hill is talking to Lakers today about one-yr deal

If Durant did this in OKC, they would've been able to keep Harden iirc
Posted on 7/3/17 at 5:27 pm to Fus0623
as if there was any doubt that gsw would keep it going...

No it's not, he could sign over the cap. He was just giving his boss back some money. That would be frowned upon in any other work place

I thought Ibaka was the issue

James was always headed out to do his own thing. He's not a superteam kinda guy.
