Well, a trade for Carmelo Anthony certainly ups your risk profile.

I'm gonna be honest... Carmelo scares me because he doesn't seem like a team player. He seems like a selfish chemistry killer. And the Rockets would have to give up some of their great 3-point shooters to get him.

I may be open to it if all they give up is Anderson, but I don't wanna lose Gordon's shooting.

I can't imagine the Warriors going more than this season without the break up starting. The money is just going to start being unreal. It might not be the best thing for a team to do anything too drastic.

Just go after Dedmon and don't offer a big contract to Noel

I think the Hawks want smaller and/ or shorter contracts than what they'd have to give Nerlens. but then they're sniffing around the Bogdanovic dude from teh Wiz, so who knows what they're thinking.

at this point I'm cool with Dedmon, bringing back Ilyasova and maybe Muscala at some reasonable deals, letting Hardaway walk, and getting this tank cranked up.

Could you play Carmelo and Harden at the same time? Neither has much of a defensive reputation.... Also, who gives up shots?

Carmelo would play PF in place of Anderson. It's not as if Anderson is a stellar defender...

Yeah, but he plays great internationally along side other stars. IMO I think CP3 makes it work. Would def take him over Anderson...people thinking it wouldn't be an upgrade are idiots. At the same time, Anderson seems like a better fit next to Staps than Melo.

I'd be ok with Greg Monroe and a future 1st to the Hawks in a salary dump.

Josh Smith all over again for you guys. You don't want another ball stopper on your team. And is he going to all of a sudden care on defense? Highly unlikely

I'm surprised they haven't gotten rid of him yet. Has one year left, makes sense to deal him. He doesn't fit that team at all

Looking for Denver to make a trade to clear up their log jam at PF.

Millsap, Faried, Juancho, Lyles, Arthur, Lydon

Got to think Faried and Arthur will be the casualties. I'm still baffled as to why they traded for Lyles and then drafted Lydon.

Yeah but Melo is a temp stop gap. He and Paul both have leg issues and are old. Rox would do better to keep Gordon instead of trading him for melo.

Doesn't Carmelo go directly against the Rockets' offensive philosophy? An average 3 point shooter who lives with the mid range shot, and is a bit of a ball stopper.

Is it even possibly for Cleveland to pursue Tony Allen? I don't know anything about his market but he has been successful guarding Durant in his career. Seems like a fit.

Most people don't understand the Rockets' philosophy. They aren't against mid-range shots as long as you are good enough at making them that it makes mathematical sense to take them.

Some guys DO have the green light to shoot from the mid-range in their system.
