Because Carmelo doesn't want to go to Cleveland only to have Irving and LeBron leave.

So Carmello does want to play with James and Chris but get no shots?
The lineup of Anthony, Paul, and Harden would be like watching a team play keep away with each other.

James and chris are as unselfish as all get out. And they have hoops iq in spades. it wouldn't be an issue.

couldn't Be more untrue. James has asked to play off ball and chris well he played off the ball quite a bit in LAC.
