Please let this happen. The hilarity alone will be worth it.

Please, basketball gods. Hear my prayer

Kanter, his contract, and young pieces is a much better deal than Ryan Anderson.

Melo isn't going to OKC with Paul George likely leaving after this season. Same situation as Cavs.

I give it a 2% chance. Guys around the league just don't wanna play with westbrook.

Burt Steele is not my guy. But that twitter account has broken more Houston related sports news than I can list out for ya. I'd have to go back and read through everything.

Framework is in place for the HOU deal. Just the ancillary pieces being ironed out, expect the deal to be announced as early as tonight...so we've been hearing on this board for 2+ weeks now.

Then OKC gets him for Enes, Singler and a draft pick.

I just don't get why he'd sign off on OKC and not CLE.

You serious? Cleveland is a catastrophe at the moment internally.

They have Lebron still, right? Then they have a better chance at the Finals/championship than OKC does this season. Anything after this season is likely a wash for both teams.

Because Carmelo doesn't want to go to Cleveland only to have Irving and LeBron leave.

Same thing with OKC. He doesn't want to go there only to have Paul George leave after 1 season.

I think he just cares to play with Lebron. Plus, he could leave anywhere after this season anyway.

So Carmello does want to play with James and Chris but get no shots?

The lineup of Anthony, Paul, and Harden would be like watching a team play keep away with each other.

James and chris are as unselfish as all get out. And they have hoops iq in spades. it wouldn't be an issue.

couldn't Be more untrue. James has asked to play off ball and chris well he played off the ball quite a bit in LAC.
