James wasn't himself. How can you fault a man for not being himself?

We've got DSJ. I realize we're at best at 8 seed right now, so I focus on the little things like we might actually finally have a young, franchise PG for the first time since Nash

The awkward mid-air flail by Harden might be the best part of that block

The latest report is that Portland was never in the mix to take Ryno. They actually wanted Carmelo Anthony. But there WAS a third team, but Woj never reported who that third team was that was willing to take Ryno.
Over on Clutchfans there is this lawyer who is an amateur capologist. He's very good with all that stuff and he determined the team that makes the most sense based on cap sheets is the Brooklyn Nets.
So the third team is most likely the Nets. They need a PF. Other teams keep matching their free agent offers even though they are overpaying big time. And they have the cap space for it. He said the player they were most likely looking to move and find a 4th team for is Andrew Nicholson. If they could move Nicholson's $6 million per year contract it would offset a third of Anderson's $18 million per year contract and be like getting Anderson for $12 million per year which is right about what he should be worth.

At least James was taking care of himself. I hear the best place to rehab from a concussion is at a loud nightclub with flashing lights.

Melo has made it clear he wants Houston (after the Knicks planned to convince him to stay). I think this deal will happen, it's just going to take forever.

HOUSTON, WE HAVE LIFT OFF: Knicks still set on trading Carmelo Anthony to the Rockets

Despite front office shake-up, Knicks are still set on trading Carmelo Anthony to the Rockets
The Knicks remain as committed as Carmelo Anthony to finalizing a deal that would send the All Star forward to the Houston Rockets.
According to a league source, new Knicks president Steve Mills informed Anthony's representatives last week that the team wanted to wait until after introducing Scott Perry as general manager before addressing Anthony's future.
The Daily News reported last Friday that Anthony's intentions are to leave New York despite the front office shake-up. It appears that the idea of the Knicks trying to convince Anthony to stay in New York were overblown.
Perry was hired last week and with Mills saying that he will give the new general manager the authority to run the day to day operations of the club it made sense to delay a potential trade.
Completing a blockbuster trade before naming Perry gives off the impression that Mills — and only Mills — is calling the shots. On Monday, Mills went to great lengths to project a united front office.
