Okay let's get back to free agency. This was posted on the last page but was ignored:
So what would the money on a one year Rondo deal look like?

Pelicans are definitely going to have an odd lineup if they get Rondo. I could see that being a team that is pretty average during the season, but a pain in the arse during the playoffs when the game slows down some.

If they get rondo, it's more of a reason to slow down their offense even more. Get the best shot available with rondo running the point, you get good decisions more often than bad

The hope is that Rondo, playing with the most talent around him since Boston, turns back the clock and averages 10+ast per game.

Yup. Playoff rondo is a problem.

You do realize he led the league in assists two seasons ago at Sacramento?

Yep. Now he'll have the two best big men. They absolutely need Hill to improve his shooting though. That happens then they'll be really tough.

Yeah I also saw how bad he's been before then.
If he puts up 11 11 and 6 on 45% shooting the Pels are going to threaten for a four seed. We can still dump a player with a pick to add a shooter closer to the deadline.
We can also not click due to none of these guys being good three point shooters. It could blow up in our faces. Yada yada. Boogie really wants Rondo. I don't really see that happening.
Our season will be even more interesting now

Suns & Knicks did have talks about trading Brandon Knight into cap space but NY countered with Eric Bledsoe to which Suns said no thank you
suns and bledsoe will be stuck forever.
they seem like they want SO much for him when his value isn't even close

Knicks have paused Melo trade talks according to Woj

Looks like Seattle isn't the only city that has difficulty punching it in from the 2

New GM probably wants to gauge things first.
