durant had a bad offensive WCF against dallas like lebron had a bad offensive finals against dallas
The comparrison isn't even close. Durant averaged more rebounds, assits and points in the series than in the regular season. He didn't shoot well, but he made up for it by getting to the line more. He also wanted the ball in the 4th quarter. There are many reasons why Lebron is better, but comparing Durant's WCF to Lebron's NBA finals isn't one.

just like the MSB, the 'experts' are guzzling down Kevin Durant's man milk one day, then on their knees ready to service Lebron the next, then a week later are dropping the soap in the showers for Dirk.
You're really only describing one guy. And didn't you admit to wanting to service Kobe?

was literally yelling at my TV for LeBron to take the ball to the rim in game 6. Yet he refused and kept passing the ball away. The more I saw it, the more I wondered if he was just adhering to the gameplan of his coach.
If I'm Pat Riley, I go down there and coach the team myself. Spo isn't ready to handle 2 (arguably three) super stars on the same team.
I think we may be the same person.
I was hoping Pat Riley would leave his seat in the arena and go down to the court and tell Spo how to run the offense.
I've said it on here before, Spo should take most of the blame for losing the finals.

I think you were thinking about Ghanzi saying he dreams of servicing Dirk on a nightly basis.

yes, because Durant was super clutch against the Mav's.
Durant was TWICE the player Kobe was in their respective matchups against the Mavs.

I would never expect an Ohio guy to be objective about Lebron.
Let's see Lebron was the only guy on the heat receiving more than single coverage from the Mavs defense. He also played reasonably efficient for the role the offense obviously wanted him to play. He definitely could have been a better jump shooter at times, but that is not his best skill.
He also was consistently put on the Mavs best perimeter player with relatively no help. The fact his defensive role was defending their best perimeter player (who is always a jump shooter on the Mavs) limited his ability to show off his great help defense and be a bigger beast in rebounding. Also considering Terry the Mavs were running him off about 2-3 screens consistently every trip down the floor.
Lebron is getting criticized because he wasn't a ridiculous jump shooter (which no one should have expected) and the fact he was being expected to do something by the fans and media that both team's gameplans said he wasn't suppose to do.
You should see a coaching change this offseason and the offensive schemes will be improved to take advantage of Lebron's abilities.
Also hopefully Bosh will learn how to effectively run a pick and roll correctly. It was embarrassing seeing him roll off to try and shoot a long jumper when he could have been dunking the ball everytime.

True, there needs to be a change in offensive philosophy. Wade and lebron are both players that need the ball in their hands to be effective. Both need to find a way to be a threat away from the ball

all those things are very understandable.....except for someone:
- who has "Chosen One" tatt'ed on their back
- is nicknamed "The King"
- Had an ESPN or ABC special on 'The Decision'
- proclaimed him and his Super Team would win, not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5, not 6, not 7...but more championships.

these really don't have anything to do with anything, though

well he may be wrong here, but at midseason nobody expected the heat to be in the finals

What does any of this have to do with how good players are on the court? I thought that was what we were talking about.
Are you really trying to criticize his character/personality because I wouldn't put him anywhere close to list of the worst in sports or even the NBA. Also the guy has definitely been the best overall player in the league for the last several years so I am not shocked he knows it just like everyone else.
Also championships are team accomplishments.

Just sayin, what Flagg mentioned is just another day in the park for a GOAT.....

Im certainly not objective BUT anyone who watched the finals and think they he gave anything like 100% effort is really unobjective. He was lazy, didnt try, and stood around like someone stole his puppy. He was pathetic.
The guy has great talent, no doubt. That fact makes the case even clearer IMO that there is no excuse for his gutless effort.
You watched the series man. You know this is true.

I havne't read this thread, but these remind me of the guys who make fun of Ohio State and Oklahoma for being chokers like it's somehow better to have won the Cotton Bowl than to have lost the National Championship game. Rose, Anthony, Durant, and--Jesus Christ--Zach Randolph haven't had a chance to choke in the Finals because they haven't been good enough to get there.

I hate these list. You can't compare a center to Point/shooting guard, its not the same. Really the list should be asking who are the players with the most complete game in the NBA.
1. Kobe Bryant
2 Carmelo Anthony
anybody after these two is toss up
D Wade, Kevin Durant, Lebron James
