Alabama will never fire Saban

He would have to go 2-10 for like three straight years. Maybe just two.

Exactly

And Alabama would never go 2-10. I doubt they're ever under .500 while Saban is there.

Calipari is an interesting one. I guess it depends on how you define security. He's a constant threat to get canned because of sanctions, or at least that's my impression, but I seriously doubt UK would part ways with him anytime soon otherwise.

Sean Payton was apart of a major scandal that had him suspended for an entire season and the owner responded by hanging a massive mural of his face in the practice facility and making him the highest paid coach in American sports.

How many players under Roy have fraudulent degrees? Every other high level UNC employee that was around has been removed/coerced into retirement.

Technically he "retired", but yeah. I'd say now though after getting them into a National Championship contending year, he can probably stick around until he wants to retire...or die.

Ray Tanner just moved to the AD office this year. He's not the coach anymore.

Here's my thought about this subject. Which coaches have the kind of power that Joe Paterno had at Penn State? I can only think of one. That's Coach K.

Anybody naming football coaches is dumb IMO

Saban: he goes sub .500 for 2-3 years, he's probably done

Belichek: sub .500 and miss the playoffs 2-3 years in a row, probably done

You say that won't happen with these guys but I mean it isn't impossible

The only one I could think of that could avoid being at least on the hot seat if his team tanked is Peterson at Boise
