It doesn't matter if you think that would happen not, but if it did happen Saban would get the boot much like any other major college program head coach would do.

Coach K is the best answer outside of Sir Alex.

Let Coach K have 2-3 seasons at under .500 and he is GONE.

You realize he's done more for Duke basketball than Saban has done (or ever will do) for Bama football right?

They are not even in the same ballpark as far as job security.

Scandal is the only thing that knocks Coach K off his Duke throne.

What's fricked up is that Arsene Wenger has won as many titles as Belichick has since his last one and one of them has people calling for his head.

Saban is not going to get fired if he goes 6-30 the next three years.

I think naming the court after him is a bigger deal than a statue.

The court's name could change, and the court would still be the court without his name. The statue's likeness is Saban's, no matter what you call it.

It's seriously gotta be coach K just talking American sports. He could go 500 for 3 years and keep his job, Saban couldn't IMO.

Coach K has an open ended contract with Duke. His contract actually says that he can coach there as long as he wants and they will never force him out. I'm sure there are stipulations to that, but still, he is probably the only coach whose contract reads he will be there forever

He is Duke basketball. Saban isn't Alabama football.

You love to argue both sides don't you?

quote:

dukke v: He would have to go 2-10 for like three straight years. Maybe just two.

quote:

Saban: he goes sub .500 for 2-3 years, he's probably done

You really think this will happen????

quote:

Belichek: sub .500 and miss the playoffs 2-3 years in a row, probably done

As well as this?????

trololololololol

And no I don't think it will happen but it isn't impossible
