Exactly. I don't think Brees is better than Brady, although it's very close, but the logic tonight is absurd.

Adding into the fact Brady actually played lackluster outside of that drive, rams defense is better than Chiefs as well.

The only debate is on a Louisiana based message board.

Everyone knows the GOAT.

Brady is better than Brees because Dee Ford lined up offsides.

Brady vs brees debate

This isn't a thing, you want to pretend it is, or troll Saints fans, but it's still pointless. Brees would slit his wife's wrists to have had the career and talent of Brady

The Debate only exists in Louisiana. I'm really not trying to be an a-hole, but Drew is just not seen on Brady or Manning's level.

There was never a debate. Brady is unarguably the greatest ever

It only existed on this board until today. Now?

Brady is better than Brees but we were all robbed of the chance to watch two all time greats play for a Super Bowl

The Brady as GOAT QB is most certainly debatable, particularly when you look at his entite career and not a hanful of team accomplishments.

I believe, unequivocally, Manning and a couple others would have had the same success in New England.

Ed Reed is the goat.

Agreed

But that shouldn't diminish what Brady has accomplished. You still have to be great to do what he has done.

At the very worst he is on the same level as Manning and whatever couple others you're speaking of

I don’t think there are many people, other than some Saints fans, who would consider Brees to be greater all-time than Brady.

There never was a debate. Tom Brady is the GOAT QB at any level of football. Bill Belichick is the GOAT coach at any level of football. There is no discussion.

At age 41 playing in the freezing fricking cold Brady was RIPPING the damn ball into tight windows on 3rd down with the entire stadium against him.

Brees can hardly complete a ball past 15 yards inside his home domed stadium without a complete breakdown in coverage. I felt bad for him today.

Why? Debates aren’t determined off one game sample sizes, bro. Moreover,
Brees:
-screwed by the no call PI and helmet to helmet that likely would’ve produced a TD lead over FG lead
-screwed in OT on the INT play with 2 NO CALLS on arguable roughing the passer and inarguable PI as the ball wasn’t tipped
Whereas
Brady:
-saved by the PHANTOM roughing the passer penalty that wasn’t roughing the passer IDC what anyone says
-Dee Ford offsides
-the Chris Hogan catch on 3rd down that was challenged by KC and upheld though it’s VERY arguable it should’ve been reversed didn’t look like he maintained possession

Today’s games marked one of the very few occasions in my entire life of watching sports that two teams advancing to the championship game didn’t advance on the merit of their performance, they advanced on the merit of suspect officiating reminiscent of the 2002 Kings-Lakers series game 6 OR 2010 NBA Finals game 7 4th quarter, it was simply DISGUSTING

+1

I’m a Saints fan, and I never want to hear the two in the same sentence again.

No call PI aside, Brees had a chance to do the exact same thing Tom did in OT to win the game and choked.
