not it isn't... a LOT less time spent as a TV commentator than a player. not to mention, a big portion of your time can be at your home (breaking down film, taking notes, phone interviews) and not necessarily on the practice field for 5-6 hours a day, and hours of watching film to prepare and dedicate every monday to recover

Love Tom - dude is pliable AF and doesn't care who knows it, has smashed everyone from Tara Reid to Ivanka Trump to Gisele Bundchen, is the greatest football player in the history of the sport, and singlehandedly made it cool for baws to rock Uggs over their skinny jeans.

Being gone Thursday-Sunday every week whereas as a player you fly out the day before for away games and are obviously home for home games?

Flip side is that the great majority of dads/husbands are home on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and get to celebrate Halloween and New Year's Eve. Almost all the big holidays (all but Easter and July 4th) fall during football season. Most people can plan a birthday party for their kids when their husband is around. It's not that she gets him for 6 months out of the year. It's that he's pretty much completely absent for the other 6.
Also, I do think it's the injury risk. Money has nothing to do with any of this as they are both loaded on their own.
They're both selfish, rich folks with 1st world problems. I don't find either of them particularly worthy of my sympathy. It's pretty much just wanting to watch the train wreck.

NFL teams fly out on a Saturday for a Sunday game and then back. Or Sunday for Monday, Wednesday for Thursday, etc
Its about 16 days he isnt home. Maybe not even a full 16 24 hour periods. Considering 1 o clock games it might be more like a total of 12 day hours
Its not ridiculous at all

No idea what their relationship is like, but by Tom’s past behavior and by his own admission he is a pretty terrible husband and father. There are a few people in this thread who would defend Tom to the death even if Giselle showed up with the full Rihanna treatment, all because Tom had a maga hat in his locker for a week

Guys, I understand the mystic of Gusele...but take a serious look at her. She's a pretty woman. But I don't think she's some drop dead gorgeous woman. Just a few bad features.
