I like how the Texans have had 2 bad seasons and now they're considered one of the most poorly run organizations on this site. Reminds me of the Bengals hate when they drafted Burrow even though the Bengals had made the playoffs more than half the time in the last decade.

There are a few very clearly poorly run organizations in football today that have consistently had poor results spanning multiple decades.

Raiders
Redskins
Browns
Bills
Dolphins

The Texans have been to the playoffs more than half of the teams existence. That's 10 appearances over 19 seasons with their last appearance in 2019.

This is hardly a "poorly run" organization. They've made bad decisions recently but over the last decade they've been a decent organization.

This is typical Texans. QB wanted a trade, team wouldn't trade him, he gets suspended for a while, team is stuck with no QB and nothing to show for him.

I mean this is karma for Houston since the Stros got to keep their title.

Maybe some lawyers can help me, but how do you find 9 women who were assaulted by Watson? Do they know each other? Maybe they talk and they came to the realization that he was a creep and eventually found a lawyer?

Is there any way for Watson to clear his name or is he fricked from a PR standpoint?

I believe this is worse than Kobe. If the 1st complaint happened and that was it than I would agree.

But Plaintiff #3 alleging forced oral sex takes "made me feel uncomfortable" to a criminal level.

When the judge ruled Kobe's sexual history was open for questioning in the civil case...he didn't show up to his deposition and settled immediately. The woman's lawyers had other women prepared to testify and Kobe, Lakers, and the NBA didn't want that information out.

Watson is screwed imo.

I assume you are banking on the fact that if you found one, then there are probably more.

It's always interesting when you have guys like Epstein, and others who could easily buy all the top grade trim in the world but get off on this kind of thing.
In the 90's, when James Worthy was a Laker, he got arrested for soliciting a prostitute. He had called a number in a weekly publication, and asked for an escort to come visit him at his hotel room. It was actually a police sting, so he got arrested.

He said afterwards using an escort service was safer for him because those women wouldn't try to get pregnant or sue him like some chick from a bar might do

The crazy thing about the arrest was he missed the start of the game that night. But as soon as he got himself out, he went to the arena, and played the second half.

Here's a great Cedric Maxwell Podcast YouTube video from 2020 where he talks about it. He doesn't get into why he did it, but it's a good watch to hear him talking about his grandfather.

ETA: Forgot to mention he was arrested for this in Houston.

Kobe had a laundry list of women ready to accuse him as well in the civil trial, so he settled

No woman who was legitimately raped is going to settle for a civil trial.

Then you’re an idiot. Rape is second or third most heinous thing one human can do to another and you think someone who has had it done to them will take $2 million and call it a day?

You’re a special kind of ignorant.

You make the mistake of taking your code/ethics/morals/feelings and assuming everyone else shares them.

Again, maybe he's a piece of shite. But all that text acknowledges is that something awkward took place. That doesn't have to equate to rape or harassment.

Or forced oral sex lol
