I'm not saying he is right or wrong in these situations, but most rapists don't apologize for their actions. Based on that text alone, it seems like he tried something and made her uncomfortable, and he recognized it and felt bad.

Doesn't matter. It's still considered sexual harassment in any work environment. He's screwed its 2021.

I love how people are already buying these tactics and calling Watson guilty.

This is a sleezeball attorney and his tactics are ridiculous and apparent. He’s not trying to win lawsuits. You don’t have to go public to win lawsuits. He’s trying to pressure Watson into settlements and it’s pathetic. Go to court and prove your case instead of trying to use the media to do your job.

Watson may be guilty, but what is being released means absolutely nothing until to what is true until all parties are under oath and cross examination is allowed.

Again, if you are raped and then refuse to go the police at any point before filing a civil suit, I won’t believe you.

You clearly are underestimated Jack Easterby.

Guy is an utter piece of shite.

I realize you aren’t very smart but the burden of proof is much higher in criminal court. Civil courts only require what is basically a more likely than not standard.

And Watson is in no situation to settle right now. He settles he may as well say he’s guilty and goodbye to the NFL. Buzbee is going to have to see this through for at least a year or more.

Where there’s this much smoke, there may be fire. Either way his reputation is going to be tarnished.

So I am not very smart when a woman is supposedly raped and yet doesn’t even go to the police at any point? You don’t have to go to court, but you can at least file a report to the police.

I know Watson won’t settle he’d be an idiot to do so. He may be completely guilty, but I will not buy someone accusing rape later for monetary damages that never once went to the cops about it prior to trying to squeeze money out of the guy.

Neither you nor I have ever been raped (I'm assuming based on your commentary). That is something that neither of us will ever be able to understand. There are decades before people who were sexually assaulted as children ever talk about it. Sometimes when someone else comes forth before you, it makes it easier for you to also say "yes that happened to me too".

I'm not saying any of this is true or false, but I think saying someone not going to the police automatically is lying is a bit absurd.

Google: the most under-reported crime

You get:

quote:

Rape is an under-reported crime. Prevalence of reasons for not reporting rape differ across countries. ... A United Nations statistical report compiled from government sources showed that more than 250,000 cases of rape or attempted rape were recorded by police annually.

So how many rapist are you willing to give a pass to because the victim did not report the crime first?

Bookmark this for later but this gentleman is going to be joining Darren Sharper in prison. Buzbee has 9 women (3 of which have already filed) and is rumored to have another 12 women that he is vetting come forward.

Sharper case all over again.

For example: Al Gore. Was accused by several massage therapists of the same behavior.

You misunderstand what I'm implying. I'm saying that the Texans Org is so poorly run, that something that would be so ridiculous for them to use as a power play, almost can't be ruled out based on the amount of ineptitude that is included there.

Sharper drugged and raped women.

Watson asked women if they wanted to have sex, some said no and some were with it.

No criminal charges will be filed from this.
