It is amazing that it cost that much to have him at an event. Our organization was inquiring about having him at our annual golf event which raises money for our faith based ministries.

I know that he is popular and has a great faith story but that is some major money for a 2 hour appearance.

We thought we could get a sports celeb for around $10,000 which would be pretty cool for guests to meet and greet, take a photo/autograph etc. but now I wonder if all celebs are in that range.

You can have a two-hour session with a really hot escort for less than $600.

I can't answer your questions, but I wonder how much of an influence the celebrity themself has on their fee? Like I'm sure if it was ONLY up to tebow how much it'd cost he wouldn't say that much. I wonder who all gets a cut? Maybe his publicist, his agent, the jets? Who else? And I wonder what % he gets?

If people were willing to pay you that much to make an appearance would you decline?

I wouldn't.

Maybe Detlef Schrempf.

William "Fridge" Perry charges: Fee Range: $5,000 - $10,000

Rollie Fingers? He's $5,000.

By comparison Shannen Doherty chargers $100,000 and Kevin Federline asks for $200,000 - 300,000.

Not only this, but his pro career is fleeting and he needs to make money. Im sure he won't go broke like those idiots on 30 for 30 but he needs to make money while he still can. This will probably be what he does for a living after football.

Are you freaking serious? Who the hell would pay that to have a ex-back up dancer speak at their event?

its only 1000 people paying $100 ea

or

500 people paying $200 ea

or

250 people paying $400 ea

If you make it a dinner event and charge per table, you could easily cover the amount and probably profit from it some.

Yeah the whole idea sounds like its to raise money, not blow it all on a speaker.

Tiki Barber got into this business.

Thuzio

If you are in South Carolina you could probably get someone from the Panthers pretty reasonably for Golf. Captain Munnerly would be great (no idea if he plays golf, etc.)
