thousands of ppl play golf on the weekends, but only a few do it in front of TV cameras. Guess what? When something really exciting happens, those same viewers expect to see that on TV too.

Oh, he definitely doesn't owe anyone a damn thing.

But I think we all know that the TMZ story is MUCh more likely than the story he is giving us.

And any famous athlete or any of us posting here would be doing the same thing he is now in the same situation.

ok? It doesn't mean we're entitled to it.

If he wants to sell the whole story to US weekly like a hollywood moron then it's fair game...if he wants to guard his privacy thoroughly then I can respect that. he didn't spend over a decade creating a wall of secrecy around him only to just let something like this crumble it.

I really don't care either way. I don't think it's ever right to cheat on a person (if that's true), but I don't think he owes any explanation to anyone. It's his business.

But it's still funny if people actually believe his story is more likely to have happened than TMZ's.

I've got to agree with BMac on this one. The only thing people should care about is what happens on the field of their profession. Their personal life shoud be private. I mean, how would we like it if we had to go to work every day and be judged by what happens at home, when we are off work? That's why i don't care anything about this, except when he will be back on the golf course.

possibly but they're also allowed to run with speculation because they're held to absolutely no journalistic/ethical standards. So that shite they wrote about the "Kobe ring" phone call is probably completely fabricated.

They may well be right, but it's also likely they're just selling shite left and right.

Then he needs to sit his arse at home every weekend and quit trying to get ppl to buy certain shirts, hats, clubs, cars, etc. He accepted the glory, he cant cry leave me alone when its not so glorious.

This.

When this stuff happens to Lindsay Lohan I have no problem with it because she's an attention whore who tells paps where to be and when.

But when it's someone who highly guards his privacy I find it disgusting.

FWIW, I do think that didn't happen.

I still think their story is more likely than Tiger's, though, about the crash. For two reasons. 1. It would fit with the recent allegations about his cheating (whether that's true or not). 2. It still makes a lot more sense than Tiger's.

the hell are you talking about? Do you understand how deranged that is? He sells stuff based on his athletic ability. The fact that he's the best golfer on the planet.

So you're saying that since you bought a nike polo once, you should now be allowed insider access into his personal affairs?

His whole image has been "You can be like Tiger." But now that hes done something, that they dont want you to know about, it ruins the whole "Be like Tiger" sells pitch.

So now its shut up, leave us alone and we'll tell you mindless fricks what you should know. Just keep buying the product so we can keep writing this guy a check.

If you want to sell something, you cant get defensive when someone asks to look at the label.

The scandal is the coverup involving a domestic violence issue concerning his wife.

Few months back, there was a incident involving Chris Brown and Rihanna that was all over tv, talk shows, commentaries, and media for weeks.

If Elin assaulted Tiger with a golf club, She should be in jail facing a multitude of charges. any future divorce/custody battle would skew in his favor over her's (criminal violent past).

The coverup probably means they will reconcile. You got me, I got you. We're even.

Tiger don't BEG people to be in the spotlight. Which Tiger are you watching?? Of course he's going to do commercials like EVERY star athlete does. You act like Tiger begs ESPN, Fox Sports, etc to interview him, show him on every commercial, etc.

Who cares what happens with him and his wife, drugs, alcohol, etc. Is your life that boring that you need TIGER to get you excited.lol.

You're not going to win him over. Some people's lives are so empty and boring that they take pleasure in seeing those that have success suffering. It's just an unfortunate aspect of human nature.
