Why is it such "a private matter" if all he truly did was leave the house and hit a tree......

I think it's obvious there's something more to it, but that's probably all we need to know in his mind.

He doesn't have to tell us, wont tell us, and we'll all forget about it.

Def

But again, he doesnt HAVE to say anything. The cops cannot require him to. But I think he f'd up with his statement that adamantly denied that his wife was involved. Makes him look very bad in the end.

He should have just said "My family and I are dealing with this situation privately and we ask that you respect our wishes"

yo, tiger, why was she beating out the drivers side, passenger side, and rear windows of your vehicle to "save" you when the impact was at such a slow rate of speed that your air bags didn't deploy .. could she have just opened one of the doors ?? dude, you came home with lipstick all over your arse at 2AM and she busted you .. scratched your arse up, grabbed a golf club, chased you out to the car and was whacking away at it while you were backing out ...

this is probably good for him. She's there for the girl and that's it.

If the girl doesn't want any info out (if there is any), then hiring gloria is a good way to go about it.

Good one!

I'd also like to add, the "Law & Order" episode is practically writing itself.

I don't want to know because I want to see a successful man suffer, I want to know because I'm just really, really curious by nature.

I'm sure that is all that it is. Gloria has a good heart.

hell no, she's getting paid.

But my point is, if Tiger wants this to stay quiet...it will stay quiet. Gloria can make that happen on her client's behalf if that's what she wants.

Gloria Allred never gets involved on her client's behalf to keep things quiet. If I were Tiger I would probably be sweating bullets waiting for the other shoe to drop because it is just a matter of time before Gloria and her "client" are confessing all to Oprah.

Why doesn't Tiger man up and tell the world the real reason he was leaving his house a 2:30 in the morning?

Are you married or have a girlfriend?

Do you man up and tell your SO's parents or your parents EVERY single detail about your relationship?

Get outta here with that BS.
