Be like tiger no longer sells, it may have back in 97 but that craze has long died.
People tune in because of one reason - he wins and everybody loves a winner. Not only does he win, he wins in dramatic fashion. He makes a golf tournament a compelling spectable.
That's it. People turn on Tiger Tv to watch the dramatics and to see if he can do it 'again'.
Be like Tiger, Tiger Apparel, and Tiger as an American Icon has been dead for nearly a decade. He's known more for cursing, slamming clubs, not acknowledging fans, and more importantly winning in dramatic fashion.

I don't see Nike shucking tiger because of a mistress. They stood by Jordan through mistresses, gambling concerns, and golf outings with known drug dealers.
Mistress may even help his image but getting a beat down from his wife won't.
That's why it has to be covered up.

Why doesn't Tiger man up and tell the world the real reason he was leaving his house a 2:30 in the morning?

I believe she got to him while he was asleep and he was dazed.
The TMZ reports are that injuries are more consistent with a physical altercation rather than a 20mph crash into the tree. SUV had more dent damage on the back end than tree damage.
He left because he was getting his world rocked with a 9 iron.
