Well, the Captain will DONG all over Canada this week to usher in our Nation's birth. I expect 3-5 DONGS this week.

It’s 2025 and I was just able to subscribe to Braves games this yr through Fanduel. Prior to this, I had no way to watch them unless they were on national tv. They were even blacked out in South MS through the MLB channel because were considered their “home market.” Not sure how Fanduel was able to accomplish it but it’s the easiest $100 I’ve ever spent.

It’s hard to care about MLB since they went woke

A lot of people said they wouldnt watch NFL or MLB after 2021.

Most caved in to the NFL, but it’s been fairly easily to move on from watching MLB

Fox had mlb on on Saturday evening.

But I had to watch ATL-PHI instead of the Astros and Cubs because of the brain dead MLB blackout rules.

A regionalized sport that can’t pull national audiences even in the World Series

Dog days of the sports calendar yet MLB’s ratings stay flat. They are more interested in pandering to GLQ crowd than hyping up the sport.

The problem is that when MLB is the only thing on, it's also during the slog of the season when it's too soon for meaningful pennant races/drama and a third of the teams are starting to tune out entirely.

went to the Braves game Saturday night and it was a packed house. MLB all star game and home run derby tickets were sold out during the presales at 400-500 a pop for the cheapest seats. MLB is doing just fine

Went to Braves game yesterday with my kids. They had a blast. Kids everywhere. Baseball/MLB is just fine.

I remember driving to the beach every year, stopping in NC on a Friday night. Watching baseball with three kids and the wife in a hotel. 30 years ago or so on a Friday night in July, we watched the end of two major league baseball games. Two no hitters. Fantastic. What a great memory.

Damn only 6 left! Thats awesome. If I weren’t bringing the family, I’d have a lot more done. But with a family of 5, it’ll take a while.

Next year will probably be KC and Texas. Got to keep it simple. Have a senior trip and baseball WS to Pigeon Forge next summer.

I do miss the noon Saturday FOX national games from when I was kid

Yeah, was glad when FOX started carrying baseball and did a weekly afternoon game in the summer.

NBC Game of the Week from the first weekend til the end of the season was the best. Throw in an NBC prime time game or two in July and August, and add in ABC’s Monday Night Baseball in the summer. I miss the ‘80s.

Dad‘s and boys trip for us. The boys are all grown now, but we’re going to keep it going to hit all the parks.

Today is Canada Day. Captain AMERICA is gonna ruin Canada Day with multiple DONGS, as the GasCan is pitching for 51's team.

I was surprised that my daughters were all about it. They get to go to different cities and they rather baseball games than football. My son has been playing since 4 and follows MLB. So he’s excited to be able to see the big name guys.
