It's hilarious that people think it's better to lose in the Conference Finals, early in the playoffs, or miss the playoffs, than lose in the Finals.

When it is accomplished by playing in an awful awful conference at the time, yes.

It reminds me a lot of the Bills and Broncos runs in the AFC in the 80s and 90s. Sure they went to a ton of Superbowls but like 1 was close and the rest were blowouts. Hell the AFC lost 13 straight Super Bowls from 1985-1997 with only two games within double digits. That is the result of shitty confèrence.

LeBron got into all of those finals he lsot because HoF how shitty the East was. You can’t say the same about Jordan and hell eve Magic in their primes.

So yea, you can hold losing Finals against him. He never had to face a Pistons or Celtics level team to get to the Finals. The only reason he has a ring in the West is the joke of a bubble season and the fact he never won shite with a homegrown team that didn’t trade for a superstar or two to pair with him. Even Cleveland had ti build their Super Team with the love trade.

Great player, but deserving of all the in court and GM criticism he gets.

What’s fun is that he just won the scoring title and all anyone says is that he’s not as good as MJ. You know that has to be eating that egotistical a-hole up. It’s great. frick him.

Yeah, I don’t care for Lebron the guy, but Jordan is the only guy that he can be compared against.

Also Jordan is just remembered differently due to that time period. It was the 80s and 90s. There was no social media and the internet was just starting. I think Jordan would be remembered differently in a different media era.

Also the way people characterize the Mavs series is wrong. The Heat got beat by a great coach, Dirk, and a game plan that destroyed the poor Heat roster construction.

The Heat then retooled as they had no real shooting to spread the floor for their stars. Lebron got stuck on the perimeter because Wade had no gravity at all in that series. They got two titles out of it, but Wade was about the worst pairing to play with Lebron. Their games at that point were too similar.

Jordan never lost. When he was 38 the wizards went 81-0 and won the title.

I honestly give Lebron more credit for taking those joke Cavs teams to the Finals in the mid 2000’s than I do 3 of his 4 rings. The Heat rings were basically bought and the Lakers ring was a complete joke.

Most impressive accomplishment and display of greatness in his career was no doubt the Cavs winning the Finals over GS.

Lebron was propped up and praised since he was a child and grew up without a dad to keep him grounded.

MJ’s dad was in the Air Force and then used his G.I. bill to become an airplane mechanic.

Pretty easy to see the influence.

Yeah, one grew up to be the GOAT assassin basketball player and the other a narcissist a-hole that is hated by the masses. I liked LeBron in his first run with the Cavs then I realized who he was when he went to the heat

Also Jordan being cut from his high school basketball team while Lebron was NBA ready in high school.

This take is way off. Lebron has competed at the highest level for his entire career. He has dominated when his team he plays on is weak and he has honestly been a pretty good teammate when they are a great team.
He and Michael are the GOATS

Why are y’all so shocked that he receives the amount of pushback that he does?

JJ Barea effectively eliminated Lebron back in 2011 from ever attaining GOAT status

MJ, Magic, Shaq, Kobe, Bird just to name a few. Lebum is maybe top 15. I mean Bird for one: 31 years ago today, Larry Bird scored 10 of his 21 field goals with his left hand & finished with 47 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists! Could Lebum ever do something like that? nah. Hell nah. Lebum has one move. Put head down and bull his way to basket, that's about it. The fact that many put him so high up tells me they have only watched limited basketball inside their little bubble era.

your family and friends all hate you. they talk about you behind your back. they think you're stupid and cant discuss anything serious with you, so they don't.

you will probably die alone or maybe with someone as dumb as you, which is honestly weirdly better than the lives the rest of us are living in the real world. we have to walk around with coherent thoughts and an understanding of the world, but you don't. im jealous of you for that.

You realize that Lebron has a higher 3 point percentage than MJ and Kobe right?

You clearly havent watched much basketball if you think Lebron has 1 move

Who's the other guy in your top 3?

I don't mean that to read like I'm asking incredulously, I am genuinely curious. Magic? Bird?
