There was apparently a shooting in the stands during white Sox game tonight

I actually considered going tonight just for this.
As if this organization couldn't have a worse summer. I was already done with it for the foreseeable future anyway, but this shite is going to push even more people away.

The real tragedy of this is that Tone Loc couldn’t do Funky Cold Medina or Wild Thing live. Dude is a legend. People being shot there are ho-hum and boring/expected, seeing Tone Loc is a treat.

I was actually there and just found out about this from this thread. Really weird. Didn’t hear a shot, didn’t see a scuffle/skirmish/people running/extra security (and I was on the 3rd base side basically where the infield meets the outfield, so not too far from LF bleachers). They didn’t stop the game. Extremely odd.
But I can confirm what that guy says near the end of the article: people were PISSED when the announcement was made that Vanilla Ice was cancelled. Felt like it was about to be a repeat of Disco Demolition Night.

Heard there was 2 shootings at high school football games last night too. One in Georgia and another in Oklahoma. No way all three are a coincidence.
