There is no reason for halftime in 2024

Just make it an extended time out, let the players drink some water. Then let’s get the game going again.

Ok, then as a band director I would just give my band Saturday's off.
Edit: Actually, I wouldn't even have marching band then. I'd focus more on my concert/jazz/etc. ensembles that really are the ones where music majors need and improve their playing with anyway.
