That Old scoreboard has been wrapped with a Service Chevrolet ad/ billboard for at least the last 10+ years
Work crews have been working on the back fence metal frame recently . May have had a spark from that plus piles of super dry pine needles in 98 degree heat don’t help

Looks like they’ll be getting a nice scoreboard upgrade.

It wasn’t a working scorecard. They were moving the fences in for some reason and a spark from welding was the cause.

No. It’s not been functional for a very long time and was effectively a billboard.

That’s what they get for having an all turf field

Is this some kind of memorial to their regional appearances against LSU?

If you’re going to take a shot at a school, maybe double check before hitting “submit” to be sure you aren’t making it sound like your school allowed an illiterate to graduate.

All that crawfish dust is combustible

Looks like turf will need to be replaced too?

Sponsored by Burger Tyme (RIP to the GOAT, and not the phony that re-opened a few years ago and failed).

They are in the process of bringing in the outfield wall. They want to be like Tennessee

Tigue has always been a graveyard. Moving the fences is won’t turn it into a launching pad like Tennessee

That school will need a gofundme to replace it
