This is only half true. That team had multiple superstars

None of these guys were superstars at any point in their careers. The Red Sox had two HOFers plus Curt Schilling and Manny Ramirez who should both be in.

they've had full houses of 40,000+ for both World Series games so far.

even better for Milwaukee.
can win it in a Ballpark with mostly your own fans, but with Florida's weather instead of Wisconsin's when you go out to party afterwards

Giambi was a superstar until he left

But Tejada won the AL MVP that year and Zito won the Cy Young.

Tampa has been good for a while. That’s the definition of moneyball, smart guy.
But never a real contender
If they were fans of other franchises would be dunking on them for getting gentleman’s swept yet again on the big stage rather than giving them pats on the back for “trying”
They’ll never be a real contender to win it all, and that’s evident
That’s why fans don’t show up, it’s because they know it’s not worth the time because the rays will
Never win anything of relevance
Last year I said the rays are a fraud. This year that assessment has been confirmed. For the Rays, analytics define everything. The Rays do not make decisions based on logic, what's right, or what's smart. It is solely based on analytics and what the computer tells them is best. Well according to the analytics the Rays were first in wins, hits, AVG, SB, RISP, etc. in the AL. So based on analytics, the rays are not just a good baseball team but the 'best' in the AL. Well according to reality, the Rays just got gentlemanly swept by essentially an evenly matched team in the Brewers with the same style of play, and same kind of players. The Rays, who operate entirely on analytics, didn't just lose what was possibly the best and easiest opportunity for their first championship, but they lost by failing in literally every aspect of the game.
