This thread misspelling Deion constantly is also cracking me up.

Teams passed on Shedeur because when he opens his mouth he sounds like a retard. No it’s not because he’s black or Deon’s kid or any of this other stuff. Watch him in any interview, he sounds flat out stupid. He tries way to hard to sound confident and cocky like his dad. If he drops the cool guy act he will be better off and probably make a decent qb

Nah, if Shedeur was as good as he and Deion thinks he is nobody would care. The problem is Shadeur is nowhere near as good as people think he is.

Hedging, nice.

Difference being that Deion wasn't raised rich. He had a chip on his shoulder and didn't have a fall back option of rich daddy if sports didn't work out.

Shedeur also isn't a generational athlete/talent. Shedeur has all of Deion's bad qualities and few of the good.

You either have to have elite measurables or be an elite winner at the college level to justify being a 1st round pick at QB imo. Shedeur is neither. He doesn’t have elite arm strength. He’s not ridiculously fast or athletic and he was around .500 as a starter. On top of all that, he comes off as entitled and arrogant. Not really surprised to see him fall out of the first round.

We’ll get it.. he just does not have exceptional talent that would supersede having baggage

If NFL coaches want honest feedback on a player around the intangibles, is he a leader, how was he in the locker room, what is his work ethic, etc…., they go talk to the head coach

this process is contaminated for Shadeur given his father was his head coach, so they’re never going to get true honest feedback about the player in his case

All they have to rely on is tape, and he just doesn’t have anything that’s super impressive on film for them to draft him in the first round

Deion will try to get on the staff if not this year or next year and then try to position himself to become a NFL head coach

Jerry Jones is on line one.

If his name was Shedeur Robinson he wouldn’t be looking at getting drafted until the 3rd or 4th round. He ain’t that good. Nothing he does is elite.

Deion knows that in the NFL parents are out of the way. There is no way Deion would do that to his son.

He literally was on television saying he called an organization after it was reported that Shadeur had a bad interview and that the organization told him that "it wasn’t true".

Shadeur is a child who has to have his dad do things for him. I don’t understand how plebs on this board can’t see that he is a head case.

Hes never played for a coach other than his dad. That is a big red flag.

Draft was the most humbling thing to happen to him and dad, kid and dad don’t know how to be humble in victory and defeat, shows character flaws that teams didn’t want in locker room, some team will take a shot on him later today is my guess

You have been watching too much ESPN. If Shedur was that good it wouldn't matter, someone would have picked him already but he is not. He cannot run, he locks in on receivers and he takes sacks rather than throw it away and hurt his completion %.

I wonder if you take a Milroe over Sanders bc he will play his part and can run.

Wonder if not starting they think Sanders will be a headache

His situation is so similar to Kaep,

Good enough to be a league backup

But no team will deal with that much drama for a backup.

While Deion has always been a Primadona, let's not forget the dude could always play some serious damn football once the whistle blew. He never took plays off. He locked down half the field. He got in the head of every opponent he faced. He begged to return punts when he was one of the highest value players in the league. He played both ways when he was in his 30s.

Granted the QB position is a different animal but if you're concerned about the "Prime Time" apple falling to close to the tree, don't think that's going to translate into JaMarcus Russell or Vince Young. If he fails it will be because of his arm strength and pocket awareness.
