The only issue I have with it is that they just took the outline of the Cardinals logo and fit a beaver head into it.
It's still a huge improvement from the previous one.

i understand, but there are only so many compact designs they can use. i'm talking pure spacial logistics

ok as an oregon st alum, i dig the color scheme alot, but the logo looks nothing like a beaver...It looks like a mix of a beaver and a shark...Sucks, i really loved our old logo...

My thought exactly. They use sharp lines to show the characteristic of sharp buck teeth of the beaver. If they would have added a body it would look cool but wouldn't fit on a helmet.

Whoever came up with the idea to have the helmets stripes continue onto the facemask needs to be shot.

Logo is perfect, it'll last a long time. They should've taken Okie St.'s unis and designed off of that

I like the beaver-tooth effect on the facemasks. That's really unique, which is what you want to shoot for in a uniform design.
More teams should take similar chances like that. Theme... is cool.

Oregon used to have the exact same rectangular "O " in it's own colors. I'm pretty sure Oregon used it before Oregon state did.
I don't mind the new logo, but I like the script beavers better than anything I see and I don't see where they use it anywhere. Would be a great, simple helmet look. Black helmets, orange script beavers. The new beaver on the helmet doesn't look good at all, IMO.

overall i like it. obviously the all orange with the metallic orange helmets is a terrible uniform.

Not quite. They're similar, but not exactly the same.

Usually hate when teams change to these new concept uniforms but these are the best I've seen thus far. Been to Corvallis to see the beavers play a few times because my uncles a professor there. Go beavs!
