Zion is the explosive Tractor Trailor with marginally (and diminishing) better knees.

Can’t pass, can’t shoot, can’t jump fast enough to dominate boards consistently.

Pels had to draft him, but he isn’t a franchise-changer.

I thought you were a basketball guy. This is a really really bad take.

Did you just reach back 6 years to find a take that didn’t suck?

Do you really believe in your heart of hearts that Zion is a better scorer than James Harden, the man who has averaged 30+ PPG the past three seasons? You understand he is averaging 24PPG while playing with two other elite tier scorers, right?

Objectively he is a top 20 scorer.

Because that’s what he is. I mean how can you even argue otherwise?

He is ranked in the top 20 scorers in the NBA. And is more efficient at doing so than almost all of them.

He also has the fewest field goal attempts and highest field goal percentage (by a wide margin) of anyone in the top 28 in scoring.

If he took 3 more shots per game and maintained the same efficiency and foul rate, he would be a top 5 scorer in the league currently.

The only thing stopping Zion from scoring more points is his own teammates.

Pels offense has been fine of late. It started to take off, not coincidentally, when Zion started initiating a lot of the offense.

But, hey, I’d give that up for a few more rebounds a game.

He's 61% from the field at age fricking 20. That is MVP-level offensive efficiency.

Pelicans need to be patient and build a contender around him. He's going to be special.

Trying to make him in to a damn PG.

here you go:
the "NBA" does not have any input into the pelicans style or use of players.

the team coaches and the players on the floor with Zion are the only ones who influenced the play.

Harden, no. But Harden is obviously an outlier with the rest of the dudes you listed.

Harden was actively tanking for half the games he played, then he was getting acclimated to the new team after the trade.

The rest of those dudes, Zion scores more than and does say wayyyyyyy more efficiently, so I'm not understanding how he's not a better scorer than the Devin Bookers and Donovan Mitchells of the NBA.

Nah, that and not being a multi level scorer is also holding him back from getting more shots/points up.

Going down this path Zion will never sniff an MVP and will turn in to a taller Dennis Smith

Dude Dennis Smith couldn't even get on the court for an awful Knicks team.

Zion is already a better passer than he ever was.

That's one of the worst comparisons I've ever seen.
