The NBA looks dumb as hell in this.
US fans should put pressure on the rockets and the league to cut ties with China.
China is YUGE on legitimacy and the soft power they have with ties to Western culture and business. Silver growing a pair of balls and telling the Chinese government to frick off would be a substantial blow to their ego.

If Morey is not Rockets GM, nobody cares what he says.
As I said in another thread, Chinese fans following him reported this on Weibo. Then more fans start to know this. They pressured Tencent, the company that holds the internet right of NBA. Tencent said we will not report anything about Morey. Fans applied more pressure. Then Tencent said we will not report/stream anything about Rockets.
But if more and more Chinese get involved, the Chinese gov will need to step up to answer the Chinese people. At least they need to pretend to do so.
There is no winner from this unnecessary tweet.

Are you saying the folks in unfree slave China are against this? Or is it their evil overlords speaking for them? We Americans should support the real China (Taiwan), not evil. We also should strongly support Hong Kong.
