you are asking the wrong question. no to this but i would be a little peeved if the tom brady, adrain Peterson and calvin Johnson would collude to go to one super team

Why does this make a difference? Did you know top HS recruits recruit each other to form "super teams"?

How many times have Peyton, Brady, Brees, and Roth looked at a player and told management, "I want him"?

There is no difference whatsoever.

Why??????

If the central goal is to win a championship, isn't this what you want to see every player work towards?

There is nothing admirable about inefficiency, which is what you seem to be wanting from these players. They looked at their marketplace and they saw a way to succeed and they capitalized. Also you'll have to direct me to the portion of my middle school social studies course where the thing to be admired was big business and not individual accomplishment and advancement.

You mean like a 17 y/old HS kids that declares for the draft and refused to play for the team that drafted him and demands to be traded to a team of his liking?

That's because he was a FAN of the Lakers and JERRY WEST, yeah the GM, was pushing for this as well. Charlotte was never going to get Kobe. The trade for Divac was already on the table.

Was Lebron a FAN of the Heat? Are you saying that's why he went there?

Actually what's "wrong with this country" is that people like you resent success so much you make all these silly arguments.

But your argument is to play with the hand you are dealt, not the hand you want.

Kobe wasn't picked by the Lakers. Why is he "entitled" to go to the team HE wants?

Bitch about how players should take less money to build better teams, then bitch about how players took less money to build a better team.

Yep, sounds American to me.

Yes, God forbid the players actually have a say in where they go. HS players go to the same school, no one has a problem with it. The team brings in a bunch of good players, well that's a good GM. But if the players, say, hey, I want to play with those guys and we can win a title, well some how that's unacceptable.
