As a lifelong Braves fan, I've liked Andruw Jones for a long time and agree he is one of the best defensive outfielders of all time. But Griffey Jr. is not only the best outfielder, but best baseball player in my lifetime. Dude was unreal in his prime

You are a moron if you think Ichiro or Griffey were better defensive OFs than Andruw Jones. And Ken Griffey Jr is my favorite athlete ever.
Never saw Mays or Clemente play (and I doubt you have either) so I can't comment on that. But IMO it would be impossible to play CF better than Andruw Jones did.

What does that have to do with anything? Most people in this thread supporting Andruw aren't even Braves fans.
Ken Griffey Jr was my favorite player growing up, but Andruw was even more of a treat to watch play centerfield game in and game out. Especially looking back at it now. Andruw would even look down and close his eyes and still make the catch.

Absolutely agree.
Yeah Griffey Jr as well as Ichiro have their incredible web gem moments.. but game in game out.. Andruw covering centerfield for a decade was phenomenal. He could play so shallow and still cover so much ground. His instincts were on another level.

Not really. A couple have said they aren't, but everyone else can be assumed to be a Braves fan. It's only Page 2 anyway.

AJ was one of the best fielding OF of all time, better than Griffey. And I'm pretty much the biggest jr homer there is.

IKR I was always a Braves fan, but I owned a Seattle hat and always wore it backwards just like Griffey Jr.. and would always try to mimic his batting stance. I still got pics of myself as a child doing this.
