The "blue blood" nfl teams

I guess the Cowboys have to be mentioned because of their number of SB wins, but they've done nothing for decades.
49ers also are really up and down (now up obviously) recently.
I guess the only other 2 teams would be the Packers and maybe the Giants

The graphic clearly says “most super bowl wins” not “nfl blue bloods”

I'd think 13 championships gets the Packers into the blue blood club...

Giants?!
Only other franchise besides the Packers (and the above aforementioned who've won 5+) to win 4 Super Bowls. They also have 4 pre-merger NFL Championships.

I’m not sure what this thread is about exactly but the packers are a much more relevant franchise than the 49ers. It’s not even sort of close.

I dunno...pre-merger championships are cool but it’s kind of like Minnesota or Army claiming NC’s

Evil League of Evil is:
49ers
Cowboys
Packers
Patriots
Steelers
Bears
49ers
Cowboys
Packers
Patriots

Bears

In the NFL, the question could be posed "who is not a blue blood/legendary program"? Most of the franchises have had their moments or have been around so long they are like institutions. I mean, even the Lions are a "legendary" football club with a rich history.

People will laugh, but historically speaking, the Browns and the Lions are two of the most historic franchises in the NFL. They absolutley dominated the first 3 decades of the NFL. Most people don’t realize the Browns went to 11 championship games. They have 8 NFL championships. They’ve just never been to a Super Bowl....heartbreakingly close, but never been. The Browns are like 5-6th all time in HoF inductees and top 10 all time wins I belive too. Cleveland had 11 losing seasons from 49’-95’...since they’ve come back in 99’, they have 19 losing seasons in 21 years. It’s. sad what’s happened to the Browns and the Lions.

If the Patriots are a blue bloods, Clemson is a blue bloods.
But neither are.
But neither are.

Was coming here to post this. I guess I won't now.

Patriots are not a blue blood.
Giants are definitely.
They were a power before the Super Bowl Era.
Packers obviously.
Monsters of the Midway - Bears
Niners were dogshite before Bill Walsh. They're new money...same with Pats.
AFL/AFC it's Raiders and Chiefs and Steelers and Dolphins.

The whole blue blood debate in sports is dumb. Programs and organizations are constantly changing all the time. Many college “blue bloods” haven’t won a championship in decades. And the older an NFL team is, the more revered it will be.

OP fails to mention a 20 year dynasty that’s been to 9 Super Bowls

Cleveland wasn't even in the NFL the first 30 years of it's existence.

They have 4. The four they won in a copy cat league prior to it disbanding don't count.
Detroit kicked a lot of arse in the 50's, but have won nothing since. 4 total championships.
Neither team has ever been in a Super Bowl.
Not blue bloods.

So Green Bay, Chicago and New York can count theirs but the Browns can’t? Got it. The Browns have 8 championships and there’s nothing you can do to change that. I guess going to 11 championship games isn’t considered good enough for you? The Browns have been to the playoffs 28 times which ranks 7th all time. And that’s amazing considering they’ve only made it once since 95.
