They’ve gone skeleton crew on the whole situation. 2 beer guys for the whole stadium, 1 concession stand where the line never moves, 1 “bar area” where the line never moves, half the ticket offices are closed, 1 parking guy. The mixed drinks were awful. The team was getting no hit through 5. Just terrible all around.

Rachel Phelps can't control the roster so she has to find other ways to undermine attendance.

There was nobody at the games before they announced they were leaving. 1 parking guy can probably handle it now. There's currently a Mobile/Pensacola minor league game on CST and it'd take the Cakes 10 games to get as many people as they've got there.

Experienced the same thing on Wednesdays night. One concession stand open with a bare bones crew working it. I won't be back.

My company sponsored a "come out to the ballpark" event last summer in one of the larger boxes. Kind of a "lunch-and-learn" event if you will. The only people who came not employed by my employer was my son and someone who was supposed to do a presentation from a vendor that sponsored the event. That person left about 15 minutes into the event when it looked like nobody else was showing up. There wasn't much more people in the stands.

I remember a while ago someone here mentioned they got a plain white t-shirt from someone shooting a t-shirt cannon.

I’ll never forget that guy that said they did a T-shirt toss and it was a plain white t shirt. That was great.

I’m excited to have a team coming to Wichita but I worry the ownership is going to ruin this.

Thanks for reporting this. Was going to take my kids tomorrow night, but after reading this I’m not so sure.

I went last May to a game and it wasn’t bad. It was super hero day so maybe they had extra workers for that.

Went with my son and we both enjoyed it. Even had a solid crowd at the game. Could be different this year with them moving though.

Half the team seemed drunk the couple of times I have been to a game. Clown show.

the first sign it was the end for this team was when they got the bright idea to let the LGBT community rename the team to become a joke

Tough to get a city that has two professional teams to care about Triple A baseball. Cities that only have a minor league team do pretty well. Memphis, Little Rock, Biloxi, etc
