Yeah right. You tell me what that color is....

I don't have to tell you...

From the Wiki:
"The Dolphins logo and uniforms remained fairly consistent from the team's founding through 2012. The team's colors were originally aqua and coral, with the coral color paying tribute to the Miami Seahawks and to the many natural coral reefs in Biscayne Bay. The team's original logo consisted of a sunburst with a leaping dolphin wearing a football helmet bearing the letter M. At their debut in 1966, a lighter & brighter orange was used instead of the deep coral color."

Any further questions?

Let’s not forget the Jazz changing stuff up in the 90s to include purple and blue in the same uniform.

The Kings also adopted a purple color.

Colorado Rockies rocked the purple.

Purple and Teal were all the rage.

Then we went through the blackout phase where every team had a black alternate Jersey.

That was always a sure tell of the 'wannabe badass, but not quite' college football teams.

The Georgia Dome originally got in on the act as well.

They should bring that trend back.

I've always thought that the early 70's Dolphins uniform with the teal jersey (without the arm stripes) was one of the very best ever.

The stripes were added before the 1972 undefeated season.....well at least to the players that got new jerseys that year. Joe Robbie was a prolific cheapskate.

No one made better merchandise than Starter. I once got a Starter Hornets black hat with teal and purple panels for Christmas. I loved it.

Correct. The Dolphins old threads look teal to me too. What they go with now looks aqua or turquoise.

I can't say I've ventured over to the Soccer Board in a very long time. So am I missing something?
